Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality, curriculum-focused teaching.
• Work closely with parents and carers to support student progress and well-being.
• Liaise with external professionals such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists.
• Monitor and assess student progress using Target Tracker and other assessment tools.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and engagement.
• Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of behavior management and model positive attitudes and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor of Education with Diploma in Special Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an Inclusion Teacher in the English Curriculum.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Experience working in international schools.

Preferred

• Experience teaching IB PYP.
• Familiarity with SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning).
• Experience in extra-curricular activity planning and delivery.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology.
