The Opportunity:

As an Insight Executive, you will play a key role in gathering and analysing customer and market insights to support informed decision-making. This is a chance to influence the direction of a world-renowned organisation while working in a dynamic and evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customer insight and market research projects, including surveys and online panels, by creating research questions, analysing results, and compiling reports.
  • Support the management of online customer panels, maintaining engagement and contributing to strategic recommendations.
  • Share insights across the team to drive understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with third-party agencies and support the wider Insight team on a range of projects.
  • Support the delivery of customer advisory boards, including logistics and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage multiple insight projects simultaneously, prioritising work to meet timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure customer and research data is handled in line with internal guidance and data protection requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Some experience in market research, customer insight, or data analysis.
  • Experience creating, distributing, and analysing results from online surveys or working with customer panels.
  • Awareness of qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
  • Ability to analyse data and present findings clearly using charts, tables, or visuals.
  • Strong communication skills to share insights in engaging formats.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to create reports and presentations.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting insight or research projects with multiple stakeholders or third-party agencies.
  • Awareness of data protection, privacy, or GDPR requirements in a research context.
  • Interest in higher education, academic publishing, or research-based organisations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £29,700 – £38,550 per annum.
