The Opportunity:

As an Instructional Coach, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and enhance student learning outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to influence teaching practices and lead innovation initiatives within a dynamic and forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach Primary or Secondary School teachers to improve their instructional practice.
• Support the Head of Arabic Studies with coaching Arabic and Islamic teachers.
• Model outstanding lessons and lead the Innovation Hub.
• Attend weekly leadership meetings and conduct regular learning walks.
• Develop and implement professional development plans for the school.
• Assist with the induction of new staff and contribute to strategic planning.
• Teach up to 10 lessons per week as a non-homeroom teacher.
• Promote and lead Social, Environmental, and Innovation initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree with evidence of further study or professional development.
• Minimum of five years’ teaching experience and prior leadership responsibility.
• Excellent organisational skills and a sound understanding of US curriculum pedagogy.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

Preferred

• Experience in coaching or mentoring teachers.
• Familiarity with international curricula such as IB, American, or British.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
