The Opportunity:

As an Integrated Resource Teacher, you will support high needs pupils and deliver a relevant primary curriculum at KS3 and KS4. You will play a vital role in the assess, plan, do, review process and help pupils transition successfully into mainstream education. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a primary curriculum at KS3 and KS4, including English and Maths based on Entry Level qualifications.
  • Support pupils with an Educational Health and Care Plan through personalised outcomes.
  • Work closely with multi-agency professionals to meet the needs of pupils in the Integrated Resource Provision.
  • Coordinate provision for individual pupils to ensure success in both the IR classroom and mainstream curriculum.
  • Play a key role in the assess, plan, do, review process for pupils in the Integrated Resource Provision.
  • Support enhanced transition arrangements for pupils in the Integrated Resource Provision.
  • Contribute to the development and leadership of the school’s Integrated Resource Provision.
  • Ensure a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent teaching.
  • Experience teaching a primary curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
  • Understanding of meeting needs for pupils with an Educational Health and Care Plan.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a strong team focused on challenging goals.

Preferred

  • Experience with the assess, plan, do, review process.
  • Experience working with multi-agency professionals.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with complex needs.
  • Experience in transition planning for pupils with additional needs.
