Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking.
- Support student progress through tailored teaching and assessment strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a high-quality Science curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student learning to ensure outstanding progress and attainment.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
- Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and science-related events.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Proven experience in Science teaching at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles.
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting diverse learners.
