The Opportunity:
As an Intervention Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and help them succeed. Key Responsibilities:
- Support small groups and individual pupils to improve literacy, numeracy, organisation, and resilience.
- Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement targeted interventions.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and motivation.
- Collaborate with other support staff to ensure consistency in intervention strategies.
- Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and intervention outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and review of school-wide support strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualifications including GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C or above).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with pupils in a classroom or support environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusive practice.
Preferred
- Experience in education, particularly in intervention or support roles.
- Knowledge of literacy and numeracy support strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development or teaching assistant roles.
- Familiarity with school systems and software used in education settings.
