The Opportunity:

As an Intervention Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and help them succeed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support small groups and individual pupils to improve literacy, numeracy, organisation, and resilience.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement targeted interventions.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure consistency in intervention strategies.
  • Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and intervention outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and review of school-wide support strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications including GCSEs in English and Maths (grade C or above).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with pupils in a classroom or support environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusive practice.

Preferred

  • Experience in education, particularly in intervention or support roles.
  • Knowledge of literacy and numeracy support strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development or teaching assistant roles.
  • Familiarity with school systems and software used in education settings.
