The Opportunity:

The IT Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction for the school’s IT services, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and effective systems that support the school’s mission and objectives. This is a key role in shaping the digital future of a forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the IT support team to ensure the smooth operation of IT services across the school.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the school’s long-term goals and objectives.
• Oversee the management, maintenance, and development of IT infrastructure, systems, and support operations.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of IT services, including risk management and compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the school to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
• Provide leadership, training, and support to staff to ensure the effective use of IT resources.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems and services to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the school’s data and systems through best practices and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in managing IT services, infrastructure, and support operations in an educational setting.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent strategic planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in implementing IT strategies that support organisational goals.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, security, and risk management.

Preferred

• Experience in managing IT services in a large or complex organisation.
• Knowledge of educational technology and its application in teaching and learning.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and IT service management frameworks.
• Familiarity with international schools or multi-campus organisations.
