You will work with a dedicated team to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE, BTEC, and T Level qualifications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective IT and Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Support the development of a curriculum that includes GCSE, BTEC, and T Level qualifications.
  • Foster student motivation, engagement, and success through innovative teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental performance.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the IT sector and incorporate them into teaching.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school and its mission to provide a future-focused education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in IT or Computing.
  • Strong subject knowledge in IT, Computer Science, and related areas.
  • Experience of teaching GCSE, BTEC, or T Level qualifications.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme or similar curricula.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies and innovative teaching approaches.
  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or collaborative educational environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
