The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our inspiring and collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about science and committed to fostering curiosity and academic success in students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, using the AQA specification and MYP curriculum.
• Inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods and a focus on practical learning.
• Work collaboratively with the Science department to develop and deliver a strong curriculum.
• Support students in achieving academic excellence through targeted intervention and enrichment activities.
• Contribute to co-curricular science events and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
• Stay up to date with developments in science education and incorporate new teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Science.
• Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Combined or Separate Sciences.
• Familiarity with the MYP curriculum and AQA specification.
• Experience in co-curricular science activities or extracurricular science events.
• Experience with KS5 Science teaching.
