As a Psychology Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students at KS5, delivering engaging and intellectually rigorous lessons. Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and challenge students in Psychology at KS5, ensuring high levels of engagement and intellectual curiosity.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning that enables students to achieve results in line with or exceeding their potential.
  • Collaborate effectively with a supportive and forward-thinking team of subject specialists.
  • Bring innovation and creativity to teaching strategies and lesson planning.
  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure subject knowledge is excellent and up to date to inspire and facilitate student learning.
  • Commit to the ethos and vision of the school, including participation in the wider school community and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Psychology, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at KS5 level.
  • Experience with innovative teaching strategies and technologies.
  • Experience in co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
  • Experience in a selective or high-achieving school environment.
