The Opportunity:
As an IT Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining and supporting the school’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for staff and students. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to ICT support requests in accordance with Help Desk procedures and resolve issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Install, support, and maintain IT hardware and services across the school
- Assist with Trust-wide IT projects by conducting specific testing and providing detailed reports
- Collaborate with team leaders and other IT Technicians to ensure consistent service delivery
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and IT best practices
- Provide technical support to staff and students in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all IT-related activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in an IT Technician role
- Strong knowledge of IT best practices, products, and statutory requirements
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality support within SLAs
Preferred
- Experience with educational institutions or schools
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate curriculum
- Experience with IT project management or testing
- Knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
