Junior English Teacher - Maternity Cover seeking experienced educators for term 1.

The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified Junior English Teacher - Maternity Cover for Term 1. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students in line with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Support the development of students’ literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and innovative lesson plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the school’s enrichment program through extra-curricular activities.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's of Education or PGCE with appropriate specialism, or equivalent.
  • Relevant teaching experience in a UK or international school setting.
  • Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • Ability to contribute to the school’s co-curricular program.
  • On own visa, dependant sponsorship visa, or golden visa.
  • Availability for a temporary contract from the start of Term 3 until the end of the academic year.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in a British curriculum school.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Experience with curriculum development or assessment practices.
