The Opportunity:

A Junior School Graduate Teacher is needed to join a dynamic team and support teaching and learning from Nursery to Year 6. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a stimulating and supportive environment, while contributing to the academic and personal growth of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects in the Junior School.
• Assist with the delivery of PE, Games, and sport activities.
• Contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular programme, including clubs and events.
• Work closely with experienced staff to develop professional skills and knowledge.
• Provide individualised support to students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in planning and preparation of lessons and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to senior staff.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all students and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Recent graduate with a relevant degree.
• Commitment to working with children and a passion for education.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching or education, either formally or informally.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and child development.
• Experience with extracurricular activities and sports.
• Familiarity with pastoral care and student support.
