The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead the efficient day-to-day running of our school office. This role is essential in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for all members of the school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school’s administrative functions and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the school office.
- Provide high-quality administrative support across all departments within the school.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
- Oversee the management of pupil data and ensure its accuracy and security.
- Support and supervise two Office Administrators, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain and manage office systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including parents, suppliers, and other institutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in office management, preferably within a school or educational setting.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with administrative systems and data management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience within the education sector.
- Knowledge of school policies and procedures.
- Experience in managing a team of administrative staff.
- Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between £38,900 – £40,800 per annum.
