The Opportunity:

As a Key Stage 2 Phase Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping a new phase of learning. This role offers the unique chance to build a strong foundation for Key Stage 2, working alongside a dedicated leadership team. Your leadership will influence curriculum, culture, and systems, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a high-quality Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Collaborate with the Key Stage 1 Phase Lead and primary leadership team to ensure a seamless transition for students.
  • Lead and support staff development across the primary phase.
  • Foster a culture of learning and achievement for both students and adults.
  • Monitor and improve outcomes for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Primary Director to ensure alignment with Trust values and goals.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong student outcomes.
  • Leadership experience within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision and values.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum design and development.
  • Background in school leadership or management.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods.
  • Experience in cross-phase collaboration within a multi-academy trust.
  • Passion for outdoor education and co-curricular activities.
