Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support child development and learning outcomes.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a shared curriculum aligned with the school’s vision.
  • Support the development of a continuous provision environment in Key Stage 2.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of reflection and improvement.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that enhance student learning and well-being.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support student growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in early primary education.
  • Strong understanding of child development and pedagogy.
  • Experience in creating and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos of ‘enjoy, respect, achieve’.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Familiarity with continuous provision and play-based learning approaches.
  • Experience with cross-phase collaboration and leadership development.
  • Passion for outdoor education and experiential learning.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and professional development opportunities.
