Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support child development and learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a shared curriculum aligned with the school’s vision.
- Support the development of a continuous provision environment in Key Stage 2.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of reflection and improvement.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that enhance student learning and well-being.
- Work closely with parents and carers to support student growth and development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in early primary education.
- Strong understanding of child development and pedagogy.
- Experience in creating and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos of ‘enjoy, respect, achieve’.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with continuous provision and play-based learning approaches.
- Experience with cross-phase collaboration and leadership development.
- Passion for outdoor education and experiential learning.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and professional development opportunities.
