The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share innovative ideas.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to ensure individual needs are met.
• Work with parents and carers to support student learning and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
• Support the development of the KS1 continuous provision environment.
• Engage in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in early primary education.
• Strong understanding of child development and pedagogy.
• Commitment to reflective and ongoing professional practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience in a school that follows a continuous provision model.
• Experience with cross-phase collaboration in an all-through school setting.
• Background in outdoor education or experiential learning.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and use of technology in the classroom.
