Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging PE lessons that align with the National Curriculum of England.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages student participation and physical development.
• Develop and implement extracurricular sports and physical activities to support student engagement and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other areas of the curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, pastoral care, and leadership initiatives.
• Stay updated on best practices in physical education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment that promotes respect, teamwork, and healthy competition.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognised educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.
• A certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum four years of teaching experience, with a focus on physical education.
• Exceptional subject knowledge in physical education and the National Curriculum of England.
• Experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level, and International Baccalaureate (IB) qualifications.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Leadership qualifications such as NPQSL or equivalent.
• Experience working in an international school setting.
• Strong commitment to extracurricular and pastoral activities.
