Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Inspire curiosity, confidence, and independence in young learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress through effective feedback and assessment strategies
  • Create a positive, supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and enrichment opportunities
  • Contribute actively to the pastoral life of the school as a form teacher
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and wider school events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a co-educational environment
