Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and enjoyment of learning
- Provide personalised verbal feedback and support student learning through focused conference groups
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress to inform planning and support individual learning needs
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student development
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
- Support the school’s commitment to behaviour management and student well-being
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education
- Commitment to inclusive education and positive behaviour management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Experience in working with children across KS1 and KS2
Preferred
- Experience with assessment for learning strategies
- Background in early career teacher development
- Familiarity with 'no marking' approaches and verbal feedback techniques
- Experience in supporting student progress and attainment
- Interest in continuing professional development and leadership opportunities
