Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and enjoyment of learning
  • Provide personalised verbal feedback and support student learning through focused conference groups
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Monitor and assess student progress to inform planning and support individual learning needs
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
  • Support the school’s commitment to behaviour management and student well-being

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education
  • Commitment to inclusive education and positive behaviour management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Experience in working with children across KS1 and KS2

Preferred

  • Experience with assessment for learning strategies
  • Background in early career teacher development
  • Familiarity with 'no marking' approaches and verbal feedback techniques
  • Experience in supporting student progress and attainment
  • Interest in continuing professional development and leadership opportunities
