The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress and well-being
  • Participate actively in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities and community events
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents to support continuous improvement
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic achievement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience with small class sizes
  • Background in a private or independent school setting
  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Knowledge of teaching English as a Second Language
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
