The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students.

  • Plan and implement a creative, well-structured curriculum aligned with the school’s bespoke approach.
  • Support the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Engage fully with co-curricular activities and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in KS1 education.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with The Learning Orchard curriculum or similar bespoke approaches.
  • Involvement in co-curricular activities and school events.
  • Experience in developing literacy and oracy skills in young learners.
