As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum
• Create a nurturing, stimulating environment that fosters children’s wellbeing and development
• Use high-quality assessment to inform next steps and support individual learning needs
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Pre-Prep, colleagues, and a Learning Assistant
• Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the wider life of the school
• Promote the school’s ROCCK values: Respect, Opportunity, Curiosity, Courage, and Kindness
• Support children in developing essential life skills and a love of learning
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS specialising in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning
• Commitment to exceptional pastoral care and safeguarding
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Preferred

• Paediatric first-aid qualification
• Experience in Forest School or additional EYFS training
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL)
• Passion for early years education and inclusive practice
