The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated KS1 Primary Teacher with Leadership Responsibility to join a dynamic and inclusive school environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while leading and inspiring others in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and social development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and policies.
  • Support the pastoral care of students, ensuring their emotional and social well-being is prioritized.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching practice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Primary Teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE).
  • Proven experience teaching KS1 students with a track record of outstanding results.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  • Commitment to the pastoral care of children and the promotion of their overall well-being.
  • Availability to start in August 2026.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
