Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
  • Support the holistic development of students through academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 education.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the holistic development of children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong emphasis on character development and pastoral care.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching techniques and technology in the classroom.
  • Experience with extracurricular activities and student leadership programs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £33,857–£51,463, depending on experience.
