The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school values.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support the academic and personal growth of students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Engage with parents and carers through regular communication and school events.
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) within a UK school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience with Humanities and Global Citizenship curriculum.
  • Familiarity with enrichment programs such as Duke of Edinburgh Award, music, drama, or sports.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to school-wide initiatives or projects.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and resources for teaching and learning.
