The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support the Pre-Prep team at a school in London. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for early years education and a desire to contribute to the development of young boys in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging learning activities
  • Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the Early Years setting
  • Support children with additional needs where required
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in early years education or a related field
  • Knowledge of early years curriculum and child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
  • Commitment to the values and ethos of the school

Preferred

  • Qualified with QTS or EYTS
  • Experience working with boys in a school setting
  • Familiarity with the Common Entrance syllabus
  • Experience in a Church of England school or similar environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
