The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support the Pre-Prep team at a school in London. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for early years education and a desire to contribute to the development of young boys in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging learning activities
- Promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the Early Years setting
- Support children with additional needs where required
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in early years education or a related field
- Knowledge of early years curriculum and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
- Commitment to the values and ethos of the school
Preferred
- Qualified with QTS or EYTS
- Experience working with boys in a school setting
- Familiarity with the Common Entrance syllabus
- Experience in a Church of England school or similar environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
