The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning that meets the needs of all students.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum in line with the school’s mission and values.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the professional growth of the teaching team.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Support the pastoral and spiritual development of students within a Catholic framework.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and other school activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
  • Engage in reflective practice and professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to raise achievement across a range of abilities.
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality teaching that meets the Teachers’ Standards.

Preferred

  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and engagement.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and continuous professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
