The Opportunity:
As a KS3 & 4 Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality science education to students across key stages 3 and 4. You will be responsible for teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic department. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to students at key stage 3 and 4.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific understanding.
- Support students in achieving high academic outcomes and preparing for examinations.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Science curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching Science at key stage 3 and 4.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Commitment to student welfare and academic success.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering science education in a small group setting.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology.
