The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative KS3 Secondary English Teacher to join our team in August 2026. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth within a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal development.
  • Contribute to the wider curriculum and school initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning, and professional development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honors degree in English language and literature.
  • Hold a PGCE teaching qualification from the UK, specialized in Secondary English with QTS.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English in a British curriculum school in the UK or other countries.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 is preferred.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience contributing to the wider curriculum.
  • Familiarity with High-Performance Learning (HPL) methodologies.
  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
