The Opportunity:
We are seeking an outstanding Secondary English Teacher to join our school in August 2026. The role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal development within a supportive and forward-thinking institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across key stages 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies aligned with the British curriculum.
- Support the school’s vision by contributing to the wider curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning.
- Participate in staff development programs, including NPQLT and NPQSL courses.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student performance in line with school procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honors degree in English language and literature.
- Hold a PGCE teaching qualification from the UK, specializing in Secondary English with QTS.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English in a British curriculum school, either in the UK or internationally.
- Demonstrated ability to teach key stage 3 and 4 English.
Preferred
- Experience in contributing to the wider curriculum and school initiatives.
- Familiarity with High-Performance Learning (HPL) principles and practices.
- Experience with Microsoft educational tools and digital learning innovation.
