The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across key stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Support the school’s vision by contributing to the wider curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning.
  • Participate in staff development programs, including NPQLT and NPQSL courses.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student performance in line with school procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A good honors degree in English language and literature.
  • Hold a PGCE teaching qualification from the UK, specializing in Secondary English with QTS.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English in a British curriculum school, either in the UK or internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach key stage 3 and 4 English.

Preferred

  • Experience in contributing to the wider curriculum and school initiatives.
  • Familiarity with High-Performance Learning (HPL) principles and practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft educational tools and digital learning innovation.
