The Opportunity:

As a KS4 Maths Coordinator, you will lead and shape the Maths curriculum for Key Stage 4 students. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who is passionate about driving academic success and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the development of the KS4 Maths curriculum
  • Support and mentor Maths teachers to deliver high-quality lessons
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and attainment
  • Work closely with other subject leaders to ensure a cohesive and impactful learning experience
  • Deliver professional development sessions for staff
  • Ensure the curriculum meets the needs of all students, including those with additional needs
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental goals with school-wide objectives
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in KS4 Maths
  • Proven leadership experience in a teaching or coordinating role
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student achievement

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Familiarity with OFSTED standards and school improvement processes
  • Experience with data analysis and assessment strategies
  • Background in a Church of England school or similar ethos

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary on the Main / Upper Payscale + TLR 2b (£5,874 per annum)
