The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Law Teacher to join a high-performing department that delivers excellence in A Level Law and new T Level Legal Services. This is an opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant, growing subject area with strong industry links.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Law to post-16 students.
• Monitor and track student progress to ensure achievement and value added.
• Contribute to the development of teaching resources and schemes of work.
• Support the delivery of A Level Law, BTEC Extended Certificate, and new T Level Legal Services.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to departmental planning and strategy.
• Participate in staff appraisal and lesson observation processes.
• Promote the welfare and safeguarding of students in line with school policy.
• Collaborate with external partners, including legal employers and examination bodies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Law or a related subject.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
• Commitment to student success and positive staff-student relationships.
• Understanding of the school’s mission and ethos.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with A Level Law and/or BTEC qualifications.
• Familiarity with T Level Legal Services or similar programs.
• Strong track record in CPD and professional development.
• Experience with IT and online learning platforms.
