The Opportunity:

As a Lead Clinician, you will play a vital role in delivering specialist assessments and interventions that support the independence and growth of students with complex needs. This is a key position within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the in-house clinical team, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans tailored to students with autism, neurodivergence, and SEMH needs
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead to develop and enhance the clinical service
  • Coordinate the line management of onsite clinical team members
  • Support the implementation of EHCP plans through targeted, individualized approaches
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to the development of clinical best practices
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior team members
  • Maintain clear and concise clinical and research documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • BSc or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy with valid HCPC and RCSLT registration
  • Valid professional registration and membership of a relevant professional body
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
  • Ability to write clear and concise clinical reports
  • Experience in supervising and supporting a therapy team
  • Ability to work independently and dynamically within a developing clinical service
  • Experience in multi-professional collaboration

Preferred

  • Experience in research and special interest groups
  • Familiarity with the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’, and ‘individual’ clinical working models
  • Experience in clinical service development and innovation

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
  • £3,000 welcome bonus (paid in two instalments)
  • 4 days per week with full pay (subject to probation completion)
