Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student performance to inform targeted support and intervention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their full potential in Maths.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and carers.
- Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven teaching experience across different key stages
- A passion for Maths and a commitment to student success
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers
- Experience with data analysis and student progress tracking
- Experience in curriculum development
