Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across all key stages.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
• Monitor and assess student performance to inform targeted support and intervention.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
• Provide guidance and support to students to help them achieve their full potential in Maths.
• Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and carers.
• Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven teaching experience across different key stages
• A passion for Maths and a commitment to student success
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers
• Experience with data analysis and student progress tracking
• Experience in curriculum development
