The Opportunity:

As a Learning Assistant, you will support students of varying abilities and ages, including those with special educational needs, in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. This role is integral to fostering a culture of excellence, wellbeing, and joyful learning across a world-class campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in a classroom setting, providing individualized assistance and encouragement.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Monitor and support students’ progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with students with special educational needs, providing tailored support and encouragement.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Uphold the school’s values and safeguarding policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum A-Level or equivalent qualification (MoFA attested).
  • Experience or aptitude for working with students of varying abilities, ages, and those with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and aptitude for working with students.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and demonstrate empathy and confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Previous teaching or teaching assistant experience.
  • Experience in early years or primary education.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices and special educational needs support.
