Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Spanish instruction aligned with the IB and UK National Curriculum standards.
• Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that promote international mindedness.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, pedagogy, and school culture.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and resilience.
• Support learners in developing language skills, cultural awareness, and a global perspective.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative, innovative teaching community.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful feedback to support learning and growth.
• Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote service, leadership, and sustainability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching Spanish at the PYP/MYP level.
• Strong understanding of the IB Programme and UK National Curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to fostering international mindedness and holistic education.

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and student-centered pedagogy.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or bilingual education.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Background in service learning or community engagement initiatives.
