The Opportunity:

As a Learning Enrichment Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will deliver targeted interventions and provide administrative support, helping students achieve academic, social, and emotional success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to support students with a range of additional needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
  • Use school systems such as iSAMS efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure students receive consistent and high-quality support.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help students thrive academically and emotionally.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in supporting students with additional needs.
  • Support the planning and delivery of enrichment activities tailored to individual student needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience supporting students with SEND and additional needs.
  • Strong administrative skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including the ability to use systems such as iSAMS.
  • Proactive and empathetic approach to working with young people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with EAL, Cognition & Learning, Speech and Language Needs, SEMH, or Physical/Sensory Needs.
  • Previous experience in education or a related field.
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and inclusive practices.
  • Experience with student welfare and emotional support strategies.
