Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with specific learning needs in a secondary setting.
• Develop and maintain constructive relationships with students to encourage engagement and self-esteem.
• Assist in creating and implementing individual learning plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a consistent approach to student support.
• Monitor and report on student progress and development.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Provide regular feedback to parents and teaching staff on student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Understanding of how to support students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High standard of written and spoken English.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Preferred

• Experience in providing one-to-one support to students with SEND.
• Knowledge of British curriculum and teaching practices.
