As a Learning Support Teacher, you will provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalised education plans for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide specialised instruction and skills training to support student growth and development.
• Facilitate small group learning sessions and collaborate with classroom teachers to create an inclusive environment.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Promote a positive and supportive learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure consistent support for students.
• Stay updated on best practices in special education and curriculum frameworks such as the PYP.
• Contribute to the overall academic and social development of students through targeted interventions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE).
• Experience in teaching or working within a recognised educational institute.
• Understanding of the PYP curriculum and its key principles is an advantage.
• Commitment to providing individualised support and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Preferred

• Experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Familiarity with international curriculum frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
