The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and educating students at Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that reflect current developments in education and the effective use of the Pupil Premium.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement in attainment.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities provided by the school and trust.
- Engage with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently in training as a teacher with placements at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong knowledge of current developments in education and the effective use of the Pupil Premium.
- Ability to translate vision into practical teaching strategies.
- Commitment to student achievement and academic excellence.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 with a track record of strong examination results.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
- Experience working in a school with a diverse student population.
- Experience with continuous professional development and training programs.
