Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4 in a range of subjects.
- Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that support student achievement and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Stay up to date with current developments in education and effectively implement strategies such as the Pupil Premium.
- Contribute to the development of personalised learning programmes tailored to the needs of students.
- Support the integration of therapeutic services into the learning environment where appropriate.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status or currently in training as a trainee teacher with placements at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong record of teaching with demonstrable success in achieving positive examination results.
- Detailed knowledge of current educational developments and effective use of the Pupil Premium.
- Ability to translate vision into practical outcomes in the classroom.
- Commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering therapeutic or pastoral support within an educational setting.
- Experience with teaching students with additional needs or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
