Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum in Business Studies and Economics, incorporating inquiry-based, project-based and problem-solving approaches.
• Lead a team of educators to create a collaborative, inclusive and engaging learning environment for students.
• Foster interdisciplinary learning and support students in developing research, organisational and critical thinking skills.
• Personalise student learning experiences based on feedback and individual needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the school community to support student success.
• Ensure all teaching practices align with the school’s mission, values and safeguarding policies.
• Promote a culture of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking within the department.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance student learning and academic outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in teaching Business Studies and Economics at the secondary level.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading a department.
• Deep knowledge of international curricula and pedagogical approaches.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience with project-based learning and interdisciplinary teaching.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education and digital learning tools.
• Background in a British international school or similar educational environment.
• Experience in curriculum development and teacher training.
• Fluency in multiple languages or intercultural literacy.
