The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team and contribute to the academic success of students from Key Stage 3 through to ‘A’ Level. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a dynamic and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and international standards.
• Develop and implement engaging, student-centered teaching strategies that promote deep understanding and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver cross-curricular and extra-curricular activities that enhance student learning.
• Utilize technology and innovative teaching tools to enhance the learning experience and engagement.
• Contribute to the school’s Positive Education ethos by fostering student confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset.
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain excellence in teaching practice.
• Support the school’s commitment to character development and wellbeing through active involvement in the Values in Action programme.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of a B.Ed. or equivalent, with a B.A. and PGCE and QTS.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, I/GCSE, and ‘A’ Level.
• Strong academic background and a commitment to student achievement and success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive school community.
• Commitment to Positive Education and character development.

Preferred

• Experience in middle leadership or leadership roles within a school setting.
• Familiarity with Positive Education and the Values in Action programme.
• Experience with technology integration in teaching and learning.
• Involvement in extra-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives.
