We are seeking an experienced Non-Native Arabic Teacher to join a dynamic and innovative school. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the school’s mission of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Arabic lessons tailored to non-native students across the Secondary phase.
• Collaborate with middle leaders and the Head of Department to implement the department’s strategic plan.
• Oversee and support the delivery of ABT assessments to ensure consistent academic standards.
• Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
• Work closely with colleagues to support the school’s mission of Positive Education and character development.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents to ensure a clear understanding of progress and development.
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• At least 4 years of middle leadership experience in an international school setting.
• A degree in Arabic Language & Studies (e.g., B.Ed., B.A., or equivalent).
• Proven experience in teaching Arabic to non-native students at the Secondary level.
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Valid UAE Embassy attestation and equivalisation of qualifications.

Preferred

• Experience in Positive Education or similar character development programs.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and GCSE/IGCSE.
• Knowledge of AI integration in teaching and learning.
• Experience in curriculum development and strategic planning.
