Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Drama across all key stages, including GCSE and A-Level, with a focus on student achievement and engagement.
• Plan and deliver lessons that align with the British curriculum and examination requirements.
• Monitor and track student progress using data, ensuring timely interventions where necessary.
• Prepare students for public examinations and contribute to the assessment and reporting process.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental policies and curricular initiatives.
• Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance teaching practices.
• Support and mentor beginning teachers where appropriate.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment within the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in British Curriculum schools.
• Proven experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Drama.
• Strong understanding of assessment and examination requirements for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum innovation and project-based learning.
• Familiarity with the DSIB inspection framework and UAE educational expectations.
• Willingness to take on leadership or curriculum development responsibilities.
• Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
