The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our accomplished department. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys, from GCSE to A-Level, in a school committed to excellence and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across all key stages, including GCSE and A-Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school’s high standards and curriculum expectations.
- Use data to monitor student progress and implement timely interventions to support learning.
- Prepare students for public examinations and ensure accurate assessment and reporting.
- Maintain discipline and order in the classroom, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental policies and curricular initiatives.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Support beginning teachers and contribute to the school’s culture of mentorship and teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in British Curriculum schools.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Mathematics.
- Strong understanding of assessment and examination requirements for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding teaching and support student progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working as part of a team and contributing to the school’s collaborative culture.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum innovation and professional development initiatives.
- Familiarity with the DSIB inspection framework and UAE educational standards.
- Willingness to take on leadership or mentoring roles within the department.
