The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified ELL Teacher to join our Primary and Secondary teams. This role is pivotal in supporting students in developing strong English language skills while contributing to a vibrant and inclusive learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English language instruction to students across both primary and secondary levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and Positive Education ethos.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student confidence and language development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into daily lessons.
• Support students in achieving academic success through differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the school’s wider community and events.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and guidance to both students and parents.
• Stay current with best practices in ELL instruction and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of a B.Ed. or B.A. & PGCE with QTS.
• A recognized EAL qualification such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA.
• Proven mainstream teaching experience in primary and secondary education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to Positive Education and student wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred

• Experience with international curricula such as the National Curriculum of England, GCSE, or IGCSE.
• Familiarity with Positive Education and character development programs.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools in the classroom.
• Experience in delivering extracurricular activities or leading ECA programs.
