The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality education and inspiring students to reach their full potential. The teacher will play a key role in supporting students through the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics up to KS5, ensuring a high standard of achievement for all students.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
- Foster positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain and update school policies and procedures relevant to the subject area.
- Support the school’s mission of inspiring and challenging students to be independent and inquisitive learners.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant bachelor’s degree.
- PGCE or PGDE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level.
Preferred
- KS5 teaching experience.
- Experience with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student care and professional development.
