The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality education and inspiring students to reach their full potential. The teacher will play a key role in supporting students through the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics up to KS5, ensuring a high standard of achievement for all students.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain and update school policies and procedures relevant to the subject area.
  • Support the school’s mission of inspiring and challenging students to be independent and inquisitive learners.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • PGCE or PGDE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level.

Preferred

  • KS5 teaching experience.
  • Experience with the English National Curriculum and IGCSE/IAL programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student care and professional development.
