Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students of all abilities.
- Support the school’s commitment to character development by modelling and promoting the values of Aspiration, Respect, and Community.
- Work collaboratively with experienced staff to continuously improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and specialism in science and business.
- Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Eligibility to train as a teacher in the UK.
- A passion for Mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Prior experience in teaching or education-related roles.
- Experience with teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience with character development and pastoral care.
